A Fool’s Journey
A Fool’s Journey
Reviews:
I just finished reading A Fool’s Journey and I wanted to share with you that I received insight, just like you mentioned is possible!
David, OMG! Your book is the best I've ever read. I have been reading self-help and spiritual books for the last 15-years of my life, with promise for guidance & life change and never delivered. However, A Fool’s Journey surprised me with the unexpected, and for the first time in my life, I was able to go inside and connect with my inner self. Wow!
The part that is phenomenal to me is because of the reason I wanted to read it. I've never read a book for pleasure and I wanted to try it, to only receive what I was needing at the time. A Fool’s Journey became my companion, allowed me to live in the present, and allowed me to see new possibilities for my life. In addition, it allowed me to dream at night while I slept, where I have previously been "shut-down" emotionally......and it improved my sleep. Thank you for this!

I enjoyed reading the book A Fool's Journey as the characters were so engaging that I couldn't put it down yet I wanted to savor it all at the same time. It is a great way to learn the character of each of the tarot cards through what is happening in this adventure story. I felt that the main man was also a role model of how to live life in an open, flowing and trusting manor. Glad I read it and happy to recommend this unfolding story.

I was looking for some references regarding numbers in the Tarot and couldn't find anything that resonated with me, till I looked at the appendix section in your book. Thanks.

I really enjoyed your book. I loved how the Tarot was intertwined throughout the story. Having studied the Tarot before, you made it so much easier to understand the meaning of the cards by bringing the cards to life in the exciting characters. The characters are so wonderfully written and I understood and loved them. As an avid reader I found the writing so well thought out. The story was so surprising and I loved the ending. So many stories are formulaic; A Fool's Journey is one of a kind and such a wonderful easy education in spirituality and beautiful lessons from spirit. Thank you for being open to writing this book from spirit.

Thanks so much for writing your book. It helped me to understand a card that at first scared me when it showed up. I could not get the meaning; now I do and it resonates as truth in my heart.

Are you drawn to the ancient art of tarot but feel overwhelmed by the vast amount of symbolism, archetypal images and complex analyses abounding in scholarly interpretations seen through as many lens as there are personalities interpreting them? Do you long to get to know the cards better but feel intimidated by their external beauty and internal illusiveness?
Maybe David’s new book is the very one you’ve been hoping for. In his new book, David presents his readers with subtle interpretations of the cards in the guise of a novel. This is what I call painless learning. In following the protagonist’s everyman persona through life’s adventures, we unconsciously receive an impression of how the cards play out in a real life scenario. We not only understand say, the symbology of the King of Cups, we are presented with a living example of him as a loving, joyous and wise person; one of many that John meets along his journey to wisdom.
A Fool’s Journey by David Tangredi is a unique and welcome contribution to the plethora of tarot books for this reason and also for the valuable appendices in the back. David connects tarot and numerology, contributes a layout of his own creation combining these two disciplines, and also gives a portable synopsis of each of the 78 cards in the deck. I love this dual nature of the book. First, the pleasure of reading a novel, then the valuable knowledge abbreviated, accessible, and all you need in order to understand and incorporate the cards into your own life.

I just got done reading A Fools Journey last night and I really enjoyed it. It's an amazing journey filled with inspiration and insights. Your description of some of the characters in the beginning really gave me a good understanding [of] the personality of the cards. After that I got so engrossed in John's journey that sometimes the cards became secondary to me. Thats when I would sneak a peak at the description in the back of the book, to see the correlation.
I liked all the channeled info as well. It's interesting because there is a different energy from when the channeling first starts to when it gets going and the information is just flowing. Some of the word play was awesome i.e creation/reaction, [G-O-D] zero in between, good/God, evil/devil. I never thought of it like that.
I hope a lot of people get a chance to read the book. It's a great example on what an amazing experience you can have if you can just be open to the possibilities when an opportunity presents itself.
